Get the first edition of the all-new collectible business cards. We’ll be using this design for Spring 2009. I think it will be all sorts of fun to change the outfit of the business card with the season or month. Once they’re gone, they’re history!

I wanted to have a card that was me. Not something clinical, business-like, and certainly not boring. At the same time I knew I didn’t want it junky looking or a card that might turn off a business man who needed something designed for his company that was well, business-like.

The night before I worked on this, I had a dream about that patterned border across the bottom. A little line, some fun with type, with some input by my good friend, Samara Gugler, and it was ready to go!

Enjoy this one. If you have something special you’d like to see for a future one, be sure to leave a comment here with the idea.

Gina Beeson is an awesome photographer, and she needed a logo to match! I used a rich gold to turn her Studio’s name into a stylized logo with her butterfly in the middle for both a feminine and whimsical touch.

I chose deep chocolate for the background to accentuate the gold. It’s not as harsh as black, but gives the same sort of depth.

Good Luck, Gina, as you start your new business. I’m sure everyone will love your artistic, expressive photographs as much as we do!

The Logo was done in chrome for the business card, with alternate renderings in greyscale, and in blues.

The monitor was great fun, it’s a classic picture in a picture in a picture!

They choose extra heavy, glossy, bleed to edge cards from VistaPrint.com. A matching website and brochure went with this logo and business card.
